For this collection, Saz photographed and sketched a variety of birds. From peacocks to parrots, she fell in love with their jewel tones and used them to inspire her textiles. She collaged her photographs and sketches into a beautiful digital design which was then digitally printed onto pure silk satin, an ultra-soft silk with a gorgeous shimmer. We love natural fabrics because they are comfortable and breathable. This is why we have chosen to line the silk headband with a soft, yet strong cotton which holds the headband firmly in place. Treat your silk piece with care, store it in a safe place and entrust it to professionals for cleaning.
